A Message from Meralco: Dear Valued Partners, It has been more than a month since the government implemented the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) as a strategy to fight against the spread of COVID-19. We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. COVID-19 has greatly impacted our way of life and the manner we operate our businesses, and we thank you for your patience and understanding. On this note, we would like to share with you our process and guidelines on the following: PAYMENT CHANNELS If you wish to settle your bill during the enhanced community quarantine, you may use Meralco’s bank account to conduct a bank-to-bank transfer or direct deposit, with details specified below. In situations where meter reading is not feasible, we will be computing your March bill using an estimation formula provided for in the Distribution Services and Open Access Rules (DSOAR) as approved by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC). The difference between the estimated 3-month average and the actual meter read will be reflected on your next bill and corresponding charges will be adjusted. In effect, you will only be paying for power that was actually consumed. Rest assured that a computation of your actual electric consumption for the period of March 17 – April 30, 2020 will be provided post ECQ together with corresponding adjustments.  SERVICE APPLICATION We continue to accept and process service applications so that you can proceed with your business plans. For more information, FAQs are available in our website.  Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have questions or clarifications. We will continue to exert all efforts to address the needs of our customers even under these extraordinary circumstances and we thank you for your support in #KeepingTheLightsOn.
